Congratulations to the Honor Band!
The Honor Band received an Excellent rating and won 2nd place in their category at the Music in the Park Competition at St. Louis, Missouri.
A Big Thank You!
Thanks to all of the chaperons that volunteered their time with the Honor Band's Spring Trip to the Music in the Park Competition. The trip was a success and the band members had a great time at Six Flags, St. Louis in spite of the weather.
Spring Concert Volunteers Needed
Volunteers are needed on May 10th and 11th to help transport band equipment from the Band Room to the Bartlett Performing Arts Center. Then, when the concert is over, we will need volunteers to move the equipment back to the Band Room. It doesn't take long and it's a great way to support your children's band program and get to know other Band parents.
Weekly Graded Assignment - Please remind your child to complete their Goal sheets and turn them into Mr. Tucker on the first class of the week. Many students are not turning in goals sheets, and it is significantly affecting their grades in a negative way. Please check Powerschool and contact Mr. Tucker with any questions that you have.
