Honor Band Information

Rehearsals:
Every Tuesday and Friday at 7:45 am. The Honor Band will rehearse on these days unless school is not in session.
Required Performances:
Concert Festival: March 10/11 – exact time and day TBD.
Spring Concert: TBD – I will announce this within the next week.
5th grade performances – TBD (during school hours)
Rehearsal Attendance:
In the event of an excused absence, please let me know in advance when possible. There is no penalty for an excused absence.
Each student is allowed 1 unexcused absence and 2 unexcused tardies, after that point, they will be asked to leave the ensemble. A student is tardy if they are not ready to begin rehearsal at 7:45. I will arrive early so that students will be able to get in and warm up before rehearsal begins. I must remain strict on this in order for the good of the band. We will be playing a large amount of music and will be performing several times this semester and cannot afford a large amount of students missing rehearsals.
Challenges:
There will be information coming out next week to all 7th and 8th graders regarding challenges.
